I am Nicholas Fergessen. I am not in your world. Some of you may consider this to mean that I am not real. That's your problem.

Because I am not in your world, I cannot see you. I will not add you to any "friends list", though you may add me to yours if that makes you happy. My friends are my family and the people I work with, who also do not live in your world. I will not read your journal, but you may read mine. Some comments to me may break through into my mind and I will respond as I would if the commenter was speaking to me in person. I do not guarantee regular posts or responses.

I am not aware that I am posting entries. It is not my nature to talk about myself in an open forum. I am a private man. All of what is here is like a dream to me; these are my inner thoughts that have leaked out onto your screen. The person who transcribes these thoughts (whom I am also unaware of) may from time to time examine me through strange, wholly unscientific quizzes. I am unaware of this happening. I would never engage in such ridiculous behaviour myself. I have better things to do.

My thoughts come randomly in time, leaping back and forth between the years as the transcriber sees fit. They will be dated by my calendar and clock, not yours. CY refers to Colonial Year.

I am not here to entertain you. I am here as a tool for the transcriber.
